Sprint Center gets in an NBA team — when it moves to Pier 30 in SF…

Artists renderings show the plan to get an NBA team in Sprint Center.

The arena is going to be uprooted and moved to San Francisco. Then, the Golden State Warriors will move across the Bay and play in the arena.

OK, not really.

Check out these pictures. The proposed new arena for San Francisco between Pier 30 and 32 looks just like Sprint Center — with much better views when looking through the arena’s glass.

In case you were wondering, AEG is strictly SoCal, not NoCal. AEG operates a theater in San Francisco, but does not operate HP Pavilion in San Jose or Oracle Arena in Oakland.
